SYNOPSIS:

Britt Anderson went along with everything the doctors said for nearly four years, but she was still dying at eighteen. As Britt tries to end her life by going into the frigid waters she realizes her mistake. When Allister Parks finds Britt’s fragile body on the riverbank something calls out to him. Ignoring the warnings of his sister, Allister brings Britt back from the edge of death. REVIEW:

I am willing to read just about anything but I wasn't sure if I would be able to read this. My husband is battling cancer so I find it difficult to read books that involve a battle with this serial killer. I am so glad I took a shot on this book. 

Britt is dying.  She is 18 years old and cancer is taking her life.  She convinces her parents to take her camping one last time.  As she sits at the edge of a waterfall, she realizes that she is ready to end it all.  The pain is unbearable and she wants to end it on her own terms.  Sinking into the water she realizes that she is a fighter.

Waking up on the way to the hospital after drowing, Britt knows something happened.  By the time she reaches the hospital it is obvious.  What do you do when you gain a second chance at life?  This story was difficult for me in the beginning but the story is overwhelming.  CS has managed to create a whole new paranormal world for me and I love it.  Allister is the main male character in this story but I have to admit that I am a Gabe fan and can't wait for more!
