BLOG TOUR STOP! REVIEW BY VICTORIA! GODDESS OF THE HUNT BY BECKY FLADE
Codename Diana
CIA field agent Paige Aster hides a cunning intelligence and lethal skill behind a mask of golden beauty. It serves her well as she moves from one undercover assignment to the next.
Current Mission
Retrieve a stolen United States military defense program from a terrorist cell in Dublin, Ireland, before they trade it to Islamic extremists in exchange for munitions. Her only back up on this time-sensitive mission is a deeply embedded MI-6 operative.
Her Asset
Eoin Fitzpatrick has sacrificed everyone he holds dear to bring these terrorists to justice. He’ll sacrifice Diana, too, if she threatens to compromise his mission or his cover. He has orders to do just that – his agency is only doing hers a favor.
Compromised or Comprising?
Paige expects danger, but welcomes passion—taking her pleasure where and when it’s offered. She’s not prepared for the effect Eoin has on her. Or what happens when she surrenders to him—Paige burns for Eoin but will he leave her burned…
Paige Aster is a CIA field agent who has a combination of intelligence, skill and beauty. She does her job very well. Her current mission is to retrieve a US defense program for a terrorist cell. Eoin Fitzpatrick is working to bring the terrorists to justice. He will sacrifice anyone around him.
I found this book well written with appealing and fascinating characters. The chemistry between Paige and Eoin is blistering. At 50 pages long, this book has a well-defined beginning, middle and end. Overall, this was a great book. The way the ending was left it makes me wonder if there will be more in the future. I can only hope.

Enjoy the following excerpt from Goddess of the Hunt:
“Is it done? Do you and the others in the house bring in sex partners from time to time?” She straightened and stared at him.
“Yes.” He hissed the answer.
“I’m travelling; you and I meet at a pub and go to your place to hook up. It’s simple and happens all the time. Believable, even.” She thought of Michel and her lips tilted at the corners. Then, casting her eyes over Eoin, she deliberately arched a brow and tucked her tongue in her cheek. “Well, for most people, anyway.”
His lips thinned and the muscles in his cheek ticked as he worked to control the flare of temper. It delighted her. “Fine, we’ll do it your way.” Eoin pushed himself from the chair he’d been perched on and nearly charged for the door. “I’ll be here at seven-thirty tomorrow morning, be ready.”
Paige grabbed his arm as he passed her. “What are you so worked up about? If it goes wrong, you can just leave me hanging and you know it. This costs you nothing, Paddy-boy; it’s my ass on the line.”
He grabbed her shirt and pushed her against the closet door. She didn’t fight it and he had his mouth on her in seconds. His tongue delved and demanded she respond; she arched up into the kiss. Delight, desire, and anger thrummed through her as she both succumbed and made demands of her own. His hands molded to her hips and pinned her between the hard planes of his body and the wall behind her. Then he abruptly pulled away. They stood inches apart; the air crackled around them. Their gazes locked. He opened his mouth, then shook his head and left without a word.
Tie score.

BLOG TOUR STOP! TURN UP THE HEAT BY KIMBERLY KINCAID (@TastyBookTours)
"It's not you."
There are only so many times a girl can hear those words before she believes that it is, in fact, very much her. Unexpectedly jilted by her locally famous boyfriend and haunted by a boss who makes Attila the Hun look like a lap dog, Bellamy Blake does what any self-respecting girl in her shoes would do. She rounds up her two best girlfriends and makes plans to get the hell out of Dodge.
But Bellamy's escape plan takes a nose dive on the side of rural route 164 when her transmission self-destructs, leaving her in the middle of a cell phone dead zone with nothing but her wits. Oh, and Shane Griffin, the hottest mechanic who's ever checked under her hood.
Yet this small-town man isn't all he seems. Can Shane and Bellamy prove that sometimes the most unlikely ingredients make the most deliciously sexy mix?
Turn Up the Heat is the first book in the Pine Mountain series by Kimberly Kincaid. Bellamy and her famous boyfriend break up and her boss is a nightmare so she goes on a weekend getaway with two of her friends. However, Bellamy’s luck goes from bad to worse and her transmission breaks on the way. So that leaves Bellamy is the middle of nowhere with the hottest mechanic on the planet. Bellamy is a nice woman who has no idea what she is going to do with her life but her current job is not for her.
Shane Griffin is a hot and sexy man who has not faced his past. He works as a mechanic and is very good at his job as well as honest. Shane has issues in his past that he does not want to talk about as well. Shane tries to keep his past the past and not discuss it unless he is forced to. It’s apparent that Shane is not looking for a relationship or even a one night stand.
The chemistry between Shane and Bellamy is scorching but I found any relationship between them a bit unrealistic because neither person wanted one or even work for one. The sex scenes were steamy. They made a great match in the bedroom.
The story was very well written. The main and secondary characters were interesting and realistic. Overall, this was a great book. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

Kimberly Kincaid writes contemporary romance that splits the difference between sexy and sweet. When she's not sitting cross-legged in an ancient desk chair known as "The Pleather Bomber", she can be found practicing obscene amounts of yoga, whipping up anything from enchiladas to éclairs in her kitchen, or curled up with her nose in a book. She has written two digital novellas, Love On The Line and Drawing The Line, about hot cops and sexy chefs, with a third novella, Outside The Lines, due this summer. REVIEW BY VICTORIA! A GIRL BY ANY OTHER NAME BY MK SCHILLER
Everyone tells him he needs to move on, but how can a man function without his heart?
Ten-year-old Caleb Tanner wants nothing to do with Sylvie Cranston, the annoying weird girl who moves next door to him and gets him in trouble for swearing. But at twelve, they become friends when he teaches her how to hook a fishing line and she shows him the value of a selfless act. At fourteen, he falls in love with her.
At sixteen, she dies.
Or so he’s told. But Cal never believes it. Sylvie has become part of his soul. He knows her like the steady beating of his own heart. He’d know if she was dead. Cal looks for her, prays for her and finally he just waits for her.
Nine years later, she walks into the community college English class Cal is teaching. Only this girl claims her name is Sophie Becker and she doesn’t know him. Cal knows better. He’s determined to get the girl he loves back—and protect her from the danger that took her away all those years ago.
Caleb is a teacher at the local community college working his way up to becoming a professor. He has hunted for the woman who everyone told him was dead. Caleb does not believe it because his heart says she is still alive. It seems he tried to have relationships but no one has ever been able to measure up to Sylvie.
Sylvie was taken from Caleb at the age of sixteen and was still in love with him years later to the point of following him from afar. Finally, fears later she takes on of Calab’s classes just to see him then everything comes to a head as he see her.
The chemistry between Caleb and Sylvie is blistering. They have a hard time staying away from each other. It shows how much they care about each other. The sex scenes were scorching. The ending is what blew me away. I did not see it coming at all.
I liked this book a lot but what I found confusing was for the first third of the book (less once you’re past that point) or so it went back and forth between the past and the present. That is one of my biggest pet peeves because I find very distracting. The main and secondary characters were fascinating and genuine. I loved that this book was told from Caleb’s point of view. Overall, I adored this book and wish I can find man who loves me just like Caleb loves Sylvie.

REVIEW BY VICTORIA! INTERVIEW WITH A MASTER BY JASON LUKE
It's the interview like no other.
It's the interview of a lifetime.
It's THE Interview with a Master.
When Jonah Noble reveals details of his life within the world of BDSM, the tale he tells is intensely erotic, profoundly sensual, and brutally honest.
This is His world. His way.
There is only one question the man will not answer…
(BDSM erotica from a man's POV, written by a man. Contains some explicit language)
Interview with a Master is the first book in the Interview with a Master series by Jason Luke. This author does a wonderful job of drawing you into the story in a realistic way and not letting you go until the very end. I cannot wait to read the next book in the series. I loved this book a lot. It was not what I expected the story to be and it kind of reminded me of Interview with a Vampire by Anne Rice.
Jason Noble is a Master and he is set on telling his story his way. Jason comes across as open, and forthcoming about his past and brutally honest about his past in many ways. However, I did wonder if he picked a journalist not in the lifestyle because he was hiding something and he did not think she would pick it up or she would be too focused on the sex scenes and miss something he did not want to call attention too.
This book is very well written with interesting main and secondary characters. I read this book in one sitting. I was sucked into this story. I was struck by how realistic this story comes across. While the ending is unexpected, it does come as realistic. I enjoyed reading this story from a male perspective. It had a much different tone than if it was told from the interviewer’s perspective. Overall, this was a wonderful book and I literally cannot wait to read the next book in the series.

REVIEWS BY VICTORIA AND CEECEE! ANGEL'S HERO AND ANGEL'S TRUTH BY LIZ BORINO

CIA Agent Aaron "Angel" Collins doesn't take many things on faith. He trusts his gut, his eyes, and his husband, Jordan, an Army Captain. When his commanding officers deliver news of Jordan's death, Aaron needs proof. The facts don't add up, and Aaron must decide if he can trust Major General Troy Hart to assist in his quest to discover the truth.
Captain Jordan Collins is battered and disheartened in an Afghanistan prison, but definitely not dead, though he learns his own government believes he is. His only mission now is to stay alive and make it home to Angel, if he can find an ally among the enemy. But someone in the US government will stop at nothing to make sure he never leaves that prison, And Jordan must reevaluate the lines between friend and foe if he is ever to return to his Angel.
Aaron Collins is a CIA agent who has worked in the government long enough that he does not take much on faith. Aaron has a nickname that only the love of his life calls him, Angel. Therefore, when the Army comes to him reporting the death of his husband Jordan, Aaron wants proof, like a body. Therefore, the CIA agent does what he does best and looks in it to find an answer.
Jordan Collins is captain in the Army. He has one last mission then he is out of the Army and looking to spend more time with his husband, Angel. What happens is he get taken prisoner and with his county not looking for him because they all think he is dead makes Jordan realize that he has to save himself if he wants to go home to Angel.
Angel’s Truth is the first book in the Angel series by Liz Borino. I found this book well written. The main and secondary characters were interesting and engaging. My only issue with this book is it was not long enough and not as flushed out as I would have liked. However, I enjoyed reading this story and I wanted to know what happens next. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.
A wonderful love story involving a true test of faith that will melt your heart!
I loved the determination and strength Aaron exhibited, as everyone around him lost hope. What seems to be an act of lunacy to others is simply an act of true love. Of course, Jordan’s struggles amplified my compassion for such an amazingly loyal and courageous couple. Jordan’s need to get back to his husband alive was inspiring. The willpower to survive his horrible circumstances was matched by the bravery of a young woman risking her life to save him. Unfortunately, with powerful enemies running the show from both sides, the outcome for all involved may not be a happy one.
Please note: This is the sequel to Angel's Hero and these books must be read in order.
"Freeze or I'll shoot!" Aaron yelled and aimed the gun at Jordan's chest.
"Angel, no, please." Hacking fluid-filled coughs broke up Jordan's words.
"Jordan?" Aaron whispered his name as recognition painted a mural of memories of their life together on his face.
"Yes." He coughed red into his dirty hand. "Please help."
So begins Angel's Truth, the sequel to Angel's Hero. Army Captain Jordan Collins arrives home, only to find the man responsible for his imprisonment, torture, and near-execution with his husband. Had his Angel moved on without him?
Aaron "Angel" Collins has driven his family and friends away in his quest to learn the truth of Jordan's fate, leaving only Major General Troy Hart willing to help him. When Jordan miraculously returns, with a spirit more broken than his body, Aaron realizes Hart was really a liar with an agenda of his own. Aaron is unable to take time to heal his own emotional wounds, because he and Jordan learn Hart's betrayal is even greater than they originally believed, threatening the entire nation. Now the reunited couple must race against time to keep a promise to Jordan's savior and prevent Hart from bringing terrorism once again to American soil.
Aaron “Angel” Collins has driven his family and friends away because he has not accepted the death of his husband. The only person that has stuck by him is Major General Troy Hart. Troy is attracted to Aaron and seems to use everything he can to get Aaron to fall for him.
Aaron is surprised by the re-appearance of Jordan. He is also taken back by how broken inside and out Jordan is especially with the Court Marshall upcoming as to how he arrived home. Aaron figures out who is to blame and set off to protect not just himself but Jordan as well.
Angel’s Truth is the second book in the Angel series by Liz Borino. This book is part of a series and is best read in order to best understand the plot and characters. I found this book well written. The main and secondary characters were interesting and realistic. Overall, I loved this story. I wonder if there will be another story about these characters in the future. I hope so.
This quick read was a satisfying end to an intriguing military thriller.
Although he’s home, Jordan’s nightmares are still haunting him. As the PTSD and physical recovery takes its toll on him and Aaron, their betrayer continues his treacherous ways. They race against time, while looking over their shoulder, to stop a killer before he strikes again.
Once again, this couple displays an amazing amount of love and support for one another. I learned a few things during the erotic scenes that I was completely unaware of, and Aaron’s “sassy” side came out a little more in this installment. The story line wraps up both novels in a tragic, but wonderful manner.

REVIEWS BY VICTORIA AND BRANDY! TRIFECTA BY KIM CARMICHAEL
Two men. One woman. It could ruin a friendship, or bring a satisfying twist to their lives. Artist, Jason Morgan, is used to making magic on the canvas. Now he hopes to do it in the bedroom.
After a failed gallery showing, Jason decides the best way to cure his creative block is to act on his own personal fantasy, and enter into a sexual relationship with his two best friends.
From the time they were in elementary school, Russell Sinclair has been a willing participant in Jason's adventures, but this one goes to a new level. He's intrigued by the idea of sharing one woman, but is challenged by how to fit this three-sided relationship into his traditional life.
Lauren Redmond is no stranger to fantasy. As the aesthetic sales rep to the top Beverly Hills dermatologists, she is responsible for the majority of puffed lips and filled wrinkles in the greater Los Angeles area. She detours from her steady, secure path when she is offered the opportunity to live the dream with the two men who have occupied her heart since college. The fantasy fast becomes a powerful reality, and Lauren must decide if she is willing to give up everything she has worked for to have a bit of temporary decadence.
Trifecta explores the boundaries of love, relationships and convention.
Jason Morgan is an artist that usually making magic on canvas and trying to be discovered and make the big time. What he wants more than anything is his two best friend all in one relationship together. Maybe it’s the artiest in Jason but he sees the world in more than black and white. I don’t think it would have occurred to either of the others to have a ménage relationship.
Russell Sinclair is Jason’s best friend since elementary school. He is a computer Architect. He is always in control and the opposite of Jason. He thinks things through before acting. Russell comes across as the guy every girl dreams about.
Lauren Redmond is an aesthetic sales rep to Beverly Hills dermatologist. She is on her way to landing a Doctor for a husband. However to do that she needs to put Jason and Russell away and that is a lot harder than she seems to think is it. She also wants both of them as well.
The chemistry between Jason, Russell, and Lauren is blistering. The sex scenes were scorching hot. In the bedroom, they have it all figured out. It seems once they leave the bedroom the three of them forget that they are friends and stop communicating. It’s almost like the other person should just know what the issues are.
I found this story to be well written and exciting. The main and secondary characters were interesting and realistic. My only issue with the book was it was a bit long winded and it was hard to see that the three were friends when they did not talk to each other much. I did like seeing the three of them try to make the relationship work and the issues and problems that arise when one has an unconventional relationship in a conventional world. Overall, this was a good book.
This was a fun book that took a topic that is not every day conversation and pushed it out into the real world. The characters are well written and I have to say the sex is amazing between the three of them. When you have been friends as long as they have it is hard to take that next step. Even more so when there are three of them involved. Jason is a very selfish person but the creative nut in me thinks that is just what is personality makes him out to be.
I can see how hard it was for Russell to step out of the very conservative shell he has lived in his whole life. I did find it strange that after all the years they have been together, they still struggled for basic communication with each other. Did Russell and Lauren really need Jason there to tell them if they could be together or not?
At the end of the day this is a good book that I would recommend to anyone that likes a romance that breaks the mold.

REVIEW BY VICTORIA! SOMETHING TO TREASURE BY CHRISTY NEWTON
Book Two
Murder, jealousy and treasure…
When Cammie Adams, determined novice PI, gets an urgent call from her ex, she is compelled to take his case. Miles, a luxury hotel owner and an upstanding citizen of the Upton Hills Community, finds one of the maids dead in an empty suite and turns to Cammie for help to keep his beloved hotel from being tarnished. With her partner and complicated boyfriend, Simon, she takes on a case that might just be their last. Her ex’s hotel is an eighty-year-old building that has secrets of its own. Will Miles win Cammie back? Will Simon stay by her side when the unthinkable happens? Can they catch the murderer to save the hotel and her ex’s reputation or will the case take a turn that will leave them lost forever?
Something to Treasure is the second book in the More than Treasure series by Christy Newton. This book is best read as part of the series and not as a standalone. In this book, we get to know Cammie better than the first book. Cammie seems to be adjusting to all the changes in her life as her father is back in her life as well as having a boyfriend. We get to see what unsettles Cammie.
Simon is an ex-jewel thief turned PI. He is still hot and sexy man. Its apparent that while Simon is intelligent and is a good PI his first job above all else is to keep Cammie from getting hurt everything else comes across as second to that.
The chemistry between Simon and Cammie is intense. The sex scenes were hot and steamy. The sex scenes were not as detailed as some book are and I enjoyed that a lot. What puzzled me was why Cammie and Simon were sleeping in separate bedrooms. Is it a way to slow the relationship down and get to know the other person better? On the other hand, is there another reason?
Just like the prior book, this book was just as well written. The main and secondary characters were interesting and realistic. I read this book in one sitting because I could not put this book down. I found the mystery immensely entertaining. Ms. Newton kept me on my toes with all the twists and turns this story took. I had no idea what was going to pop up next. Overall, this was a magnificent book and I will be picking up the next book in the series shortly.
