What a delightful read! This was the first book I read in this series so I am going to have to backtrack to the first three! This is the story of Mallory Byron and Adam, Earl of Gresham. Adam has loved Mallory since she was a girl of sixteen. Since she was the little sister of his best friend, he pushed aside his feelings for her. Mallory met and fell in love with a major who rushed off to war and perished. Adam vows to bring her out of her mourning and in the process realizes his love for her is powerful.
This is a beautiful story about how love can develop in a moment and take your breath away. Take the time to read Adam and Mallory's story. I was not disappointed.
