This novel
starts with a rapid race of wits and courage, then continues to exhilarate until
the last page!
Alex has a
shady past, but love can make a sane person do crazy things. While on the lam form her ex-lover, she
suffers the consequences of her actions through the detriment of others. Fortunately for her, she stumbles across a
handsome professor whose own past becomes essential to her survival.
I loved this
book! There are several characters in which I became attached. Simon, Henry’s brother has a realistic
approach when it comes to Alex. Although
he’s somewhat brash at times, he’s got an intriguing backstory of his own.
Henry is open-minded, articulate, and an absolute gentleman. He follows his instincts when it comes to
Alex, which proves advantageous. Both
men are simply delicious, as the author has a way of forming the perfect image,
and both are completely different.
The story
unfolds beautifully, never faltering, and the love scenes were very rewarding. The villains were a necessary evil that I
loved hating, and the plot was thrilling.
Intelligent, exciting, and sexy! Recommend!
