This book was formerly titled A Facebook Affair and has been revised with a new ending.
Review:
I loved this story! Ciara is a hearing impaired woman that has gone through rough times. She reads lips and was raised mainstream, which means she doesn't know how to sign and went to "regular" school. She had a rough childhood with moving around a lot. That makes it difficult to make friends. The story tells about one of the worst times when she was in second and third grade and the girls were extra vicious.
Now, Ciara is all grown up and her friend Tammy is trying to convince her to get into the dating world but Ciara believes men aren't interested due to her hearing issues. Tammy convinces her to get started on Facebook and look up some old friends. Ciara remembers Hunter, the one person who wasn't cruel to her during that dark period of her life.
On internet connection is all it takes to discover that love can begin at any age.
