BLOG TOUR STOP! THE EARL IN MY BED BY SOPHIE JORDAN (@TastyBookTours, @soverysophie)
Blurb:
Intended for one man ... All her life, everyone assumed Paget Ellsworth, the vicar’s daughter, would marry the Earl of Winningham’s youngest son. And when he left for war with his older brother, Jamie, words and promises were not necessary. She would wait. But destined for another … Four years pass, and the death of his father forces Jamie home to take up the reins as the new earl, leaving his brother fighting on the front lines a world away.
Maddening, infuriating, sexy Jamie makes Paget question her feelings. One glimpse, one word from him awakens desire in her heart. When a simple kiss spirals out of control at the annual Valentine’s Day ball, she realizes the man she never wanted is the man she needs ... but will Paget cast aside all she’s ever thought to be true to win the man of her dreams?
Review:
You can never go wrong with a Sophie Jordan book. I have been a fan for a longtime and to have a place on her tour is awesome!
This is a beautiful romance that begins with Paget who is supposed to marry Owen, her longtime childhood friend. While I am the first person to scream that you need friendship in a marriage, I do believe that you need passion as well and that is not what these two have. When Owens' brother, Jamie comes home to take the seat as the new Earl, sparks fly between the two and Paget is at a loss. Jamie has never been nice or the one that she wanted to be with but now things are different. She discovers that friendship and passion make a marriage and sometimes you have to brace for the hurt you cause one to reap the joy of love with another.
This is a great story and I can't wait for more !

REVIEW BY BRANDY! STRINGS BY KENDALL GREY (@kendallgrey1)
Blurb:
WARNING: STRINGS is not suitable for slut shamers, uptight stone throwers, Holier-Than-Thou prudes, humorless virgins, persons with chronic neck or back pain, pearl-clutching bitties, those who disparage crude humor or vulgarity in their many forms, closed-minded people with sticks up their asses, or anyone under the age of 18. The vile, base language and shocking, unholy sexual acts contained herein are not condoned by anyone with a lick of sense and should certainly not be reproduced without proper training and protection. The potty-mouthed and perpetually horny "heroine" (the term is used loosely) of this book does not resemble a normal, well-adjusted, or remotely believable person in any way, shape, or form. The author acknowledges that the characters in this book are shallow and two-dimensional; the plot is both ridiculous and insipid. She makes no apologies for any of it.
* Readers are strongly advised to wear latex gloves whilst reading to minimize contamination risks.
Free-spirited musician Letty Dillinger adheres to a strict, "no strings attached" policy when it comes to men. After a wild night of unabashed sex in a fancy hotel room, she never expects to see the adventurous stud she dubs "Shades" again. When her all-girl rock trio books a tour at the last minute as the opening act for their archenemies, Letty's shocked to discover she knows the competition's new lead singer. Intimately. Shades is no longer a one-night stand. Now he's the guy she has to one-up on stage every night for the sake of her career.
Sharing close quarters on a bus with her sexy nemesis and his bad-boy buddies puts Letty's Golden Rule to the test. On this tour, guitar strings aren't the only things being played. And when heartstrings are pulled too hard, they're bound to snap sooner or later.
Review:
Wow! I downloaded this book on the advice of my girl, Jena. I love badass rockers and when it's a girl, hell yeah! Letty is a true rocker. She lives and breathes rock and roll. Bow down to the ROCK! She lucks out with a one night stand with a sexy piece of ass (literally) that she calls Shades. This bad boy turns out to be the lead singer of the band she is getting ready open for on tour and you can imagine that the thought of that sends Letty postal. Throw in a bitch that just want quit, horn dogs that bang everything that walks, a man that screams "Fuck me" from every pore of his body and you have your self a rock-n-roll tour!
Good sex is awesome but the sex that these two have between the pages is smoldering. I have read some seriously hot books but I have to give Kendall Grey a shout out for rocking my world. I will be keeping this lady on my radar cause I need more Hard Rock Harlots!

BLOG TOUR STOP! HEARTSTRINGS BY SARA WALTER ELLWOOD (@tastybooktours)
Blurb:
He’s determined to set things right, no matter the cost.
The last person Abby Crawford wants to face down is country music superstar Seth Kendall. Last time she did, she flat-out lied so he’d go to Nashville without her. She’s never understood why their mutual best friend proposed, but she went with it so her baby wouldn’t be fatherless. Now she’s a divorced mother of a teenager, and secretly Seth’s biggest fan.
Seth is home in McAllister, Texas for his father’s funeral…and a chance to meet the daughter he’s never known. He’s willing to face the music of his own making and admit he’s known about his little girl all along. For fifteen years he’s kept his distance because Abby told him to follow his dreams without her, insisting she didn’t love him. But now he won’t leave until he knows his daughter and she knows him, even if it means facing the woman who broke his heart for good.
Confessing she’s lied about her daughter’s paternity all these years won’t be easy for Abby, especially with her ex blackmailing her to keep the secret. And Seth doesn’t know the hardest truth of all: Every love song he plays on his guitar still plucks her heartstrings.
CONTENT WARNING: Spicy sex.
Excerpt:
Seth leaned in. His lips were close enough to kiss, and his scent of sandalwood and something exotic enveloped her, taking her back to that night on the beach. His eyes flashed with the dangerous fire of his temper. It was similar to the flame of the passion she’d once seen in the green depths. Abby didn’t expect or want the heat curling in her belly, and shivered with a sudden and fierce desire.
“I’m her father, Abigail. I wanted to be her father after she was born. It was you and Mike who insisted I had no business messing things up.”
“I never said any such thing. You never tried. You just left.”
He pounded a fist on the counter top so hard she jumped. “Yes, I left! I wasn’t welcome at home. Dad ran me off with a shotgun. Mike wouldn’t even let me see my daughter. He made it quite clear you and he were happily married, and I had no place in your life. I was under contract to be in Nashville to start recording my first album.”
What did he mean, Mike wouldn’t let him see Emily?
Before she had a chance to voice her question, his eyes darkened as the pupils dilated, obscuring the stormy green. “But I’m no longer nineteen and scared shitless. I could make things very rough for you and this fantasy you’ve got working.”
A cold lump quickly replaced the tangle of heat in her belly. “What-what do you mean?”
He backed off and tapped the countertop. “I’m talking a custody battle. I could have a judge order a paternity test. I think we both know the media hoopla the results would cause.”
Her heart slammed into her chest wall. “You wouldn’t do that.”
“Try me. Now that I’ve met Emily, I want to get to know her.” He walked over to look out the kitchen window. The hard line of his jaw melted, and he swallowed so hard his throat moved up and down. “I was a fool when I let Mike talk me out of being in her life after she was born.”
“What do you mean?”
He glanced at her. “Don’t pretend you don’t know.”
The strings of guitar music provided a soft counterpoint to the hard tension in the kitchen. Emily was outside on the patio playing around with her guitar, waiting for them to finish with the dishes she and Seth had insisted on doing.
“All I want is to have some time with my daughter. That’s all I’m asking for.” When he looked over his shoulder at her, sadness replaced the anger in his eyes. “I’ll keep your little secret. I’ll just be her favorite singer. The family friend who made it big in Nashville. I don’t want to hurt her. As much as it galls the hell out of me, I see what Mike means to her.”
He moved toward her and shoved his hands into the pockets of his jeans. “Besides, I don’t want to hurt Carolann or Frank any more than you do.” He glanced outside again, his voice husky as he spoke. “But I’ll sue you if I have to.”
A part of her wanted to give in to him, but a larger part wanted to punish him. Let him take her to court; she’d make sure the world knew what kind of jerk Seth Kendall really was.
She gritted her teeth and fisted her hands by her sides. “I’ll let you have tonight, Seth. But don’t ask for more.”
She turned away and strode through the French doors.
Review:
I really enjoyed this book and have always been a closet rockstar reader! Seth is complicated. I liked him but at the same time I hated him. Life is never easy and he took the coward's way out for a very long time.
Abby has always felt the pain of not fitting in and she made some touch choices at a young age. You can't fault her for following her heart and doing what she thought was right. I have to say that I had no idea the twists and turns this story was going to take! Mike was not the man that we all thought he was going to be.
Love a good rockstar story and this one is a keeper!

Review:
First of all, let me say that I LOVE THE COVER OF THIS BOOK!!!! It ties into the storyline so amazingly well. This is one of those stories that I feel needs to be on everyone's radar. It has a TRUE love story (seems kind of rare sometimes), magic that defies belief, and a plot that draws you in.
Brady and Karis are a perfect match and I enjoyed watching their relationship grow. There are always stumbling blocks but these to manage well. This is one of those books that flows so well, you can picture everything clearly. Bonus. I love tattoos and magical tattoos are just freaking hot! :)

COVER REVEAL!! THE POWER OF LOVE BY ADA SLOWE (@Ada_marie18)
Synopsis:
“The honest truth is that I’m just in love with you now, Allie that I was seven years ago.”
Ian Anderson has everything he could ever want. He’s rich, he owns his own business, he lives in New York, and women everywhere are throwing themselves at him. But what does any of the fortune mean if you don’t enjoy it? What does it mean if you have to spend it without the person you loved most in this world?
Seven years ago, Ian was deeply in love with the only girl who’s ever captured his heart. Allison. They grew up together, best friends, turned into soul mates. Allison was Ian’s heart, his everything, the love of his life even. Even seven years later, Ian can’t seem to rid his thoughts of Allison, in his mind, she was the one that got away. And even seven years later, he’s still very much in love with her. The hardest decision Ian ever made was the decision to walk away from her. But what if the only reason you left the person you loved was so that you could protect them?
Allison Montgomery is the type of person who wears her heart on her sleeve. She feels everything, and lets her feelings consume her. The moment Ian left she was a broken shadow of the girl she used to be. Now seven years later, she’s got a new life, and a new boyfriend, and she’s an editor at a publishing house.
When Ian and Allison run into each other again, will Ian be able to make things right with the woman he’s always loved, or did he lose his chance? Will love that was once so strong resurface and give him everything he hoped for through all these years?
Will they have a chance to start over or will the past be too painful for them to overcome?
Teasers:
“Why do you continue to stay with him knowing you’re in love with me? “Ian asked Allison, as she sipped her wine and sat on the chair across from his table. She knew deep inside this was the last place she should be. Lucas was waiting for her, yet here she was having drinks with a man she loved years ago. What was she doing?
“Don’t Ian, just don’t. I love Lucas.” She said with a sad smile. She wasn’t lying at all in her statement, Lucas was good to her, what wasn’t to love?
“You know what? I believe you. “ Ian told her as he walked around the table and pulled her up. “I believe that you love him because I know who you are, your heart is made of pure gold. What I don’t believe though is that you’re in love with him.”
“Ian, “ Allison began as Ian framed her face between his hands and locked his piercing blue eyes with her brown ones.
“Stop, Allie. You can’t keep doing this, you have to make a choice, I love you, I’ve always loved you, I want you forever and always like I have since I was fourteen. I don’t share, you know that. “ Ian replied, as he leaned his face in closer to hers so they were now only inches away from kissing.
“I know that you’re afraid, I know I hurt you so badly, and I can’t tell you how sorry I am, but I want you back, and I’ll do anything, just give me a chance.”
About me:
I’m not like any twenty year old I know, in fact I’m very different than most my age. While most people my age like to party, and go out, I like to stay in with my laptop and write. That’s not to say I don’t know how to have a good time, because even a writer needs a break sometimes. I’ve got amazing friends and such a great support system, and I don’t know where I’d be without it.
I grew up in a small town called Newfield, New York. At the age of fourteen, I moved to Florida, which is where I met my inspiration to become a writer. I’ve been writing since I was ten years old but It wasn’t until I met my former English teacher, Shay Kastanis, that I decided I had it in me to pursue it as a career. She’s supported me since the moment I told her I wanted to be a writer and I could never ask for more than that.
I discovered my talent and love of writing at a little shy of the age of ten. Young, right? I hear that a lot. In my opinion though, it doesn’t matter the age, it matters of how great the story is. And without writing, I honestly don’t know where I’d be. Writing isn’t just a hobby for me, it’s a passion, and it’s my reason for breathing. People say we’re all put in this world for a reason, and well writing is mine. It’s the one thing in my life that I can always count on to make me happy. I was introduced to writing because of events that were occurring in my life when I was a child, and I found it to be a great outlet. I started with poetry, but eventually progressed to novels and the honest truth is, now I just can’t stop writing books. I get told a lot by a good friend of mine that I’m a writing machine. I have an overactive mine and once I get an idea, I can’t stop. And more than that, I get too many ideas at the same time. While I’m writing though, I become obsessed with my own characters. They consume me, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
The first time I ever let anyone read my original work, was very nerve racking for me, and the truth is, I think that it’s always going to be that way for me. Sometimes I overthink and worry about things that I shouldn’t. I’m the type of person who wears my heart on my sleeve, and so I feel everything that gets thrown my way. Like any other writer, I do doubt myself at times, but overall, I’m pretty confident in myself and in my writing. And when I get told things like I’m a good writer that makes my day. Since starting my author page, I’ve even got people disappointed because my book isn’t published yet and that means more to me than my “fans” will ever know. Still trying to get used to the word fans.
My biggest writing inspiration is Nicholas Sparks, I love his books and writing styles. I love how he doesn’t just have one style, he goes from first to third person. He’s a captivating writing and I can only hope to be as great as him someday.
I tend to write a bit darker though. I mean I’m all for reading romance, but my romances that I write always tend to have a lot of darkness in them, Maybe it’s just my twisted mind, but I just think it makes for a better story.

RELEASE DAY REVIEW!! IF THE SHOE FITS BY AMBER T. SMITH (@Crimson_Romance, @Amber_T_Smith_)
Blurb:
Life isn’t a fairy tale… except when it is.
There’s nothing wrong with Ella Gibson’s life— it just isn’t very exciting, despite being surrounded by lingerie. Working for Cardiff’s top modelling agency should have been glamorous, but most of the time Ella is running around with memos and cups of coffee. It’s a far cry from living the dream, but skirting the edge of her fantasy life is enough.
Then comes the day when her cat starts to talk, claiming to be Ella’s fairy godmother. As if that weren’t crazy enough, the pesky puss becomes a fashion advisor and behavioral expert, too. Add an evil ex-stepmother, a hunk called Charming, plus a looming party-cum-ball, and you have all the elements of a classical fairy tale. There’s even a couple of ugly sisters—the fact that they are two gorgeous gay men being neither here nor there.
Ella’s not your typical fairy-tale princess though, and it will take more than a discarded glass slipper to get her man. It’s quite possible she may have to curb her enthusiasm for cursing a wee bit, not to mention her love of vodka. And can Muse, her surprisingly straight-laced feline friend, overcome her prudishness long enough for Ella to sneak a kiss or three with her intended beau?
Review:
This was such a fun take on a fairy tale story! Ella is your typical Girl Friday, just trying to make her way in life. With the help of her two male best friends, she succeeds but there is still something missing. Enter Muse, her talking fairy godmother cat. Muse is determined to help Ella attract the attention of her new boss. Unfortunately after meeting Max Charming, Ella turns into the world's biggest klutz. Throw in a trip to Gretna Green, hot men in kilts and a drunk lady in a wedding dress and it's a party not to miss!
Fun times ensue when bare bottoms and trips to the ER abound! I can't wait to read more from amazingly awesome author!

College.
Parties, sororities and getting drunk.
Oh, yeah. And learning.
This may be true for most college students, but not for Leah Bennett. College life for her includes studying, working, and excelling in school. When it comes to the social ladder, Leah is at the bottom. Popular girls, hot guys and star athletes are of no importance to her, except for one.
Matthew Jacobs.
Matt is the starting wide receiver at SUNY Cortland, the most wanted guy on campus and Leah’s best friend. Although Leah’s feelings toward Matt run deeper than just a friendship, it is something she would never let be heard because the odds of someone like Matthew Jacobs going for someone like Leah Bennett are slim to none.
When Matt starts showing an interest in Leah that goes beyond friendship, she is dumbfounded and doesn’t believe it is possible – until one weekend that changes everything.
Will Matt and Leah’s popularity status get in the way of having a chance at a real relationship?
Or does status mean nothing when it comes to true love?
Review:
This was a good and quick read! There is always something about the bookworm girl getting the hot jock that makes my bookworm tendencies quiver! I have to admit that it was a bit predictable in some spots but I did enjoy it. I kept waiting for Matt to be more of a jerk or to have some major flaws. The one thing I would have liked to see was him talking to her about a relationship. That was a little caveman act to me. I feel in college a mutual understanding should take place and not an assumption.
All in all, this is good love story with a happy ever after. If you are looking for a cute and loveable book, this is the one for you!

Some may consider me a jack of all trades, but I consider myself well rounded.I’ve waitressed, styled hair, answered phones and, most recently, worked full time as mom to my two beautiful little boys. Then there was this book… Everyone and their brother started talking about this book series titled Fifty Shades of Grey by EL James. I didn’t really pay attention to the craze at first, since I wasn’t a big reader- okay, I didn’t read at all. But curiosity got the best of me, so I downloaded it to my kindle.I was immediately hooked. I read the whole series in three days. Yes, three books in three days.I kept finding all these great books that I HAD to read (just ask my credit card!).Then I started hearing voices. Voices that turned into stories; stories that were begging to get out of my head.I started writing them down on scraps of paper. Then I transferred them to my computer. Before I knew it, Planning on Forever was born. The voices in my head are still talking, so I’m still writing.

REVIEW BY BRANDY!! THE BULLRIDER'S MANAGER BY LYNN CAHOON (@LynnCahoon)
Blurb:
Barb Carico’s life is all about business. Now that her best friend has tied the knot with her high school sweetheart and Barb’s new partner, she’s busier than ever. Managing Jesse Sullivan’s career and public persona can be a handful. Add in an aging mother who goes through home health nurses like candy, Barb’s hanging on the edge.
Her one salvation? Hunter Martin, prodigal son of Martin Family Dairy and, hopefully, Jesse’s next sponsor. A promise his father had already made before Hunter took over the public relations department. After his brother’s death, Hunter’s become an instant dad to his seven-year-old niece. More responsibility. For Hunter, the rodeo weekend with Barb is the perfect excuse to relax.
When their dinner turns into drinks and then a quick trip to a Vegas wedding chapel, both Barb and Hunter agree their nuptials were a mistake. A mistake they consummated the next evening. As soon as they’re home, the marriage will be annulled. That’s what they both want. Or at least what they tell themselves.
Upon their return, Hunter finds that distant relatives are suing him for custody of his niece. The only way for him to keep custody is to design a life that matches the promise of a perfect family. For that, he needs Barb to stay married to him. Hunter would give her anything to go along with the charade.
Barb doesn’t know anything about being a wife or mother but she needs one favor. A favor she’ll trade her lifestyle, independence, and even risk her heart to make come true.
Review:
I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. This was an intriguing story and I enjoyed it. Barb is a strong woman but makes the mistake of one too many shots of tequila. Who hasn't right? I was a little suprised that she actually married Hunter at a Vegas chapel. I have been seriously drunk but never accidentally married. :)
It turns out for the best when they use the marriage to put the welfare of their loved ones first and discover that sometimes an accident can be the most powerful thing in the world.
I enjoyed this story, kittens and recommend it to all of you.

Review:
I was given a copy of this book in exchange for a review. I am not normally a cowboy fan. I know, I know. How can I live in North Dakota and not be a HUGE cowboy fan, right? The fact is that in the past the books that I had read that were "western" left a lot to be desired for me. We all have our genres that quiver our toes. I am glad to be able to say that I will consider more cowboys in the future.
I understand the need to be there for your family. Sometimes that is the only thing that we can hold on to in life. However, James didn't have to end things the way he did and I wish Lizzie would have been a little stronger. When the two of them run into each other years later, the sparks fly. I
This is a sweet romance that is perfect for a light read and curling up with a glass of wine and a box of chocolates! Enjoy.
