OMG! I don't think I have read anything by Jeaniene Frost that I just didn't love! This is a short story based on Cat and Bones from the Nighthuntress stories. As a favor to Don, Cat and Bones take on babysitting duties for a spoiled little rich girl who has a contract on her head. A family member wants her money and is willing to kill for it.
I won't go into too much detail since it is a short story but I had tears in my eyes when I got to the part with Bones and Justine. <sniff, sniff>
